At No Limits Charity, we believe that every individual—regardless of ability—deserves the dignity of mobility and the opportunity to live independently. The Wheelchair Support Project is our response to the growing need for mobility aids among people with disabilities in underserved communities.
This initiative focuses on identifying individuals who are physically challenged but lack access to proper support systems and assistive devices. By providing wheelchairs, we restore not just mobility, but hope, confidence, and a renewed sense of belonging.
Project Objectives:
- Restore Mobility: Equip physically challenged individuals with durable, user-friendly wheelchairs.
- Promote Inclusion: Ensure that beneficiaries can participate in community life, attend school, or access healthcare and services.
- Support Caregivers: Ease the physical burden on families and caregivers by improving mobility support.
- Raise Awareness: Advocate for the rights and visibility of people with disabilities in rural and urban spaces.
Recent Activity:
In partnership with compassionate donors and supporters, the project has delivered wheelchairs to beneficiaries in need—including children, youth, and elderly persons—within Greater Accra and surrounding communities. These donations are often accompanied by personal visits, community interactions, and follow-up support.
Impact:
- Improved daily independence and emotional well-being
- Increased school attendance for physically challenged students
- Reduced isolation and enhanced social inclusion
“A wheelchair is not just a tool—it’s a bridge to freedom, dignity, and opportunity.”
